Position Information

This is a Department Promotional Examination and is only open to current eligible employees of the Kern County Probation Department who have successfully completed their initial probationary period and received an overall rating of standard or better on the last employee performance report.

• Performance Exam: March 26, 2024

Examinations

Examination components for promotional testing will be administered during the scheduled date/time/location without exception.

Performance Exam ( Weight 100% ): Will be conducted for the purpose of assessing the applicant's knowledge of event coordination and scheduling techniques; inventory maintenance principles; customer service principles; standard office procedures, methods, and equipment; transcription methods; basic filing and recordkeeping principles; basic mathematical concepts; English language, grammar, and punctuation.
