Responsibilities
• Accountable for the procurement and supplier performance globally regarding time, quality and cost (volume of approx. 1.4b per year)
• Define and execute the procurement strategies world-wide to ensure cost-effectiveness and sourcing synergy effects for the entire PALFINGER group
• In the Process and Data Organization accountable for the supply chain and procurement processes, i.e. define and decide policies, processes and tool standards, drive roll out and execution of these standards, develop process & data organization
• Further optimize and develop the global supplier portfolio; identify and build strong strategic partners as a key foundation for further company growth
• Continuous reduction of material costs
• Drive make-or-buy-decisions together with Global Supply Chain Management and Operations
