Your Responsibilities

The high performance computing (HPC) infrastructure at ISTA is crucial as it enables researchers from diverse scientific fields to address intricate issues and achieve groundbreaking findings. At ISTA's Scientific Computing facility, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing and advancing our cutting-edge High-Performance Computing (HPC) cluster, one of the largest in Austria. Your expertise and grasp of research methodologies will be essential for providing exceptional support to our scientists.
• Lead a team of specialists in operating our HPC cluster(s)
• Run, extend and further develop the ISTA HPC cluster(s) including the attached storage
• Provide support for users of our HPC cluster(s), and ensure proper accounting and internal invoicing of used resources
