Duties
• Process incoming and outgoing mail to include delivery, sorting, weighing, and metering mail.
• Operate the customer service window for package delivery and pick up.
• Respond to customer inquiries concerning undeliverable, forwarded, or returned to sender mail.
• Sell postage and money orders to customers.
• Process official mail to include documenting, transferring, and safeguarding.

Requirements

Conditions of Employment
• One year trial/probationary period may be required.
• GS-04 position: Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• GS-05 and GS-06 position: This position requires you to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance of access for the duration of employment which includes a background investigation and credit check.
