Key Responsibilities –
• Reports to Plant Head and apprises him on safety performance of the plant at regular intervals.
• Conducts hazard analysis for the entire site to identify risk areas in operations and new projects and ensures implementation of the plans thereof.
• Checks & evaluates effectiveness of the action taken or proposed to be taken to prevent personal injuries.
• Incorporate PTW & ensure compliances.
• Advise procurement team for procuring high quality, suitable PPEs.
• Prepare annual training calendar & audit plan.
• Initiate & facilitates plant safety audits, inspections & observation rounds in order to observe physical conditions of workplace, EHS practices & procedures implementations.
• Render the advice on measures to be adopted for removing unsafe conditions & preventing unsafe actions by employees.
• Handling matters related to reporting & investigation of industrial accidents & diseases to DISH.
