RPO Recruitment’s client in the logistics industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Manager: Warehouse and Operations to join their team in Edenvale, Gauteng.

Responsibilities
• Provide leadership to all facets of fulfilment centre operations and ensure products are correctly received, put-away, stored, correctly picked, packaged, labelled, and shipped out to customers in a timely & cost-effective manner.
• Evaluate and develop operational policies and procedures to ensure the most efficient and effective processing of delivery orders; control of damages, picking errors and mispack; short packs; and excellence in customer service levels.
• Develop and roll-out fulfilment centres in new markets and/or regions, cross-docks, and last mile logistics stations to ensure excellent customer service levels are maintained.
• Ensure cross-docks, micro distribution centres and last mile logistics stations operate in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
