We are looking for a Microsoft SQL Server database administrator to join our client team that is developing and maintaining the largest land and sea ticketing website in Southeast Asia. This position is a hybrid role based in Penang, Malaysia, offering the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform installation, patching, and upgrading for the database and database infrastructure.
• Generate various reports by querying from the database as needed.
• Assist programmers with database design, query writing, and query optimization.
• Support database monitoring, migration, and maintenance (archive, backup and restoration, performance analysis and tuning, indexing, etc.)
• Manage user accounts and permissions. Implement database security policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve 24x7 production database issues promptly.
