Rebar Detailing EngineerFacilitates the project between the Contractor, Fabricator, and Ironworkers to ensure the project meets schedule, budget, and quality expectations.Maintains a clear and accurate comparison of detailed weights and quantities vs. estimated amounts. Reports any discrepancies to the department manager.Communicates with the customer and the fabrication manager to ensure scheduling expectations are reasonable and can be met.Communicates with the customer and/or designer to clarify missing or unclear information pertaining to the reinforcing requirements of a project.Maintains and updates the project status in the project management system (aSa, RMS, or other).Trains entry level Detailers to detail structural rebar manually or by using CAD.
