Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for handling transactions with customers accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist them in a friendly and courteous manner.
Scan items and process transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment securely and accurately.
Ensure pricing and quantities of items scanned match the purchase.
Provide customers with receipts and bag purchased items.
Resolve customer complaints or issues in a prompt and professional manner.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations.
