This position is located in the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO) with duty station, Kinshasa. The incumbent reports to the Director SSR section.

Responsibilities
The focus of this position is to support the Director SSR, and his deputy on all aspects of Security Sector Reform (SSR) activities related to mandate implementation. Within delegated authority, the SSR Officer will be responsible for the following duties: Under the overall guidance of the Security Sector Reform Division Chief and the direct supervision of the Deputy Chief, the Security Sector Reform Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: • Undertake all activities related to responsibilities and professionalization of security institutions notably, national police and army within the regions, including capacity building training within the Security Sector (SSR) mandate. • Assist in providing...
