The role involves evaluating the company’s accounting records to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Additionally preparing audit files and supporting the relevant managers in the various audit stages.

Key Responsibilities:
• Performing reconciliations over balance sheet items,
• Analysing the accounting records and ensuring all the transactions for the relevant year under review have been accurately processed (i.e. depreciation on assets, salaries) and making adjustments where required.
• Prepare quality audit working papers and general ledger reconciliations.
• Build and maintain audit files that will assist in ensuring the audit is completed efficiently.
• Assist in quality control work by maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
