Main Purpose of the Job:

The core function of the position is to be the custodian of the finance function the company. The scope of the role is broad given the small size of the executive and senior management team. It encompasses of the following aspects:

· Staff management

· Process development, maintenance and management

· Internal control development, maintenance and review

· All aspects of financial reporting

· Tax management

· Payroll management

· Audit

· Statutory

Scope of Management

All administrative departments fall within the financial management space. Departments include:

· Debtors

· Creditors

· Claims

· Warehouse

· HR

· Finance processing and reporting

· Systems

· Internal audit

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

· Honours degree

· Qualified Chartered Accountant (SA)

· At least 8- 10 years’ experience in a similar role

· Advanced Excel

· Microsoft Office and Word
