Perform manual duties associated with raising livestock. Feed and water livestock. Bottle feed select groups of livestock. Herd livestock to pasture for grazing. Herd animals in to corral and or stall. Check livestock for injuries and diseases. Administer vaccinations, medications, and insecticides to livestock as appropriate. Perform fence checks daily. Repair and Maintain fences used to control the herd. Remove and haul manure for corrals and stalls. Deliver Hay to calves daily. Assist with farm building maintenance. General maintenance on farm equipment.
Supervisor(s) will provide instructions and directions to workers. Workers must be able to comprehend and follow instructions and communicate effectively to supervisors. Unusual, complex, or non-routine activities will be supervised. Workers expected to perform basic duties in a proficient manner without close supervision.
