You will be responsible for creating a long-term and trusting relationship with our customers. The Key Accounts Managers role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing customers and actively seek new sales opportunities within the market by providing specialized services, analyses and solution based recommendations.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Strategic business development of sales opportunities within South Africa in the following industries: Cement, sugar, oil and gas, power, coal, ports & harbours, steel and metals, general industry and mining and minerals (whichever is applicable in the designated area and account list)
• Responsible for achieving budget as well as defined KPI targets including but not limited to contribution margin.
• Maintain and build solid relationships between customers and the company.
