Duties
• Solely responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Military Issue and Commercial Intrusion Detections Systems located on the Desk.
• Interprets existing Department of Army, Federal, Host Nation laws and ordinances, rules and/or regulations as they pertain to law enforcement and access control.
• Serves as the initial point of contact, receives, screens, and acts on all calls and complaints, including emergency calls and relays messages and instructions to patrol officers, fire and EMS personnel.
• Conducts law enforcement related training, structured one-on-one training and mentoring for new employees.
• Reviews all police reports, and supporting documentation, submitted by the Patrol Supervisor for correctness, completeness, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintains knowledge of facilities opening, closing, and duress procedures for all locations.
