The Project Manager is responsible for activities relating to capacity-building for private-sector players in the south-west Indian Ocean to measure their impact on biodiversity and integrate natural capital issues into their management.

Through awareness-raising, training and project support, the project manager will strive to strengthen exchanges between public and private players on the challenges of biodiversity and natural capital, as well as nature-based solutions with the aim of encouraging them to invest in such solutions, drawing on the network of chambers of commerce and industry and professional organizations that are members of Cap Business OI.

Responsibilities

As part of his/her duties, the Project Manager will be required to:

o Manage a network of volunteer companies;

o Improve management of companies and public policies through natural capital accounting;
