Kasinthula Cane Growers Limited (KCGL) is a Smallholder sugarcane Growers Company based in the lower shire district of Chiwawa in the Southern Region of Malawi and would like to recruit for the position of Senior Farm Manager.

The following are the job specifications:

Purpose of the job

To plan, organize and manage the activities of the Kasinthula Farm in order to meet the overall objectives of the organization.

Duties

The major duties and tasks of this job include.
• Daily planning of finances and production in order to maintain progress against periodic targets;
• Planning of daily practical activities e.g. operating machinery and equipment, preparing fields, etc;
• Planning and monitoring use of suppliers;
• Arranging for maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment;
• Reporting on daily targets, achievements and failures, and reasons for failures plus recommendations on how a repetition of failure can be avoided in future;
