JOB SUMMARY Under general supervision of the Superintendent or designee, operates a school bus over designated routes for the purpose of transporting students of Escalon Unified School District; performs related work as required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION May include, but not limited to: 1. Drive a school bus daily over designated routes in accordance with assigned time schedules; 2. Escorts children across streets or roadways, stopping traffic as necessary; 3. Transports students and teachers on field trips to various locations making departure and arrival times as scheduled; 4. Service buses with gasoline, diesel fuel and oil; 5. Check vehicles daily to maintain safe operating condition; 6. Cleans windshields and headlights; 7. Keep vehicles clean and neat; 8. Advises on repairs needed; 9. Attend scheduled meetings and safety programs; 10.
