2024 Summer Programs - Summer Next Wave/Full Circle: Director

Job Goal : Next Wave Jr. High and Full Circle High are continuing a summer program for students at risk of dropping out of school. The summer program will provide a positive and fun learning environment which will address student academic needs as well as their social emotional needs addressed in their IEPs. These opportunities will greatly expand student exposure to the educational, cultural and clinical support services offered at NW/FC during the academic year.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in a related field to education; Massachusetts DESE license in Mild to Moderate Special Needs grades 5-12
• Experience with the therapeutic model of Next Wave/Full Circle
• Experience with middle and/or high school socio/emotional curriculum, instruction and assessment practices
• Experience with the IEP process
• A strong ability to build community, provide support to and motivate staff
