HFI is hiring for a Bi-lingual Cost Estimator to provide HFI with a specialist competence regarding fact-based cost analysis on purchased parts, manufacturing processes and tooling for our seat trim business. It is essential that you are comfortable communicating in English as a majority of the team is located in the United States. The position will be located at one of Mexico locations, Romita, Obregon, Monclova or SLP. This is a Hybrid role and will allow you to have flexibility with a home office.
The role will be responsible for all aspects of the cost estimating process from initial entrance of the costing request to award. This will include reading/understanding cost forms, requesting additional information, developing purchased component costs, performing labor minute calculations and analyzing freight/packaging considerations.
