Duties & Responsibilities:-

1. Annual purchase budget planning and performance reviews.

2. Monthly purchase plan and performance report.

3. Development of purchase organization systems & training of staff.

4. Market surveys, developing sources & vendors.

5. Purchase after bid evaluation & approval by management.

6. Buffer stocking with approval of management.

7. Maintaining stock & following reorder levels of all materials

8. Study of market conditions & updating knowledge relating to trends of prices availability etc.

9. Development of substitute material
