Job Description
• A credit officer evaluates the creditworthiness of individuals or businesses applying for loans.
• Analyze financial information, assess risk factors, and make recommendations regarding loan approvals or rejections.
• Additionally, they determine appropriate interest rates and repayment terms. Credit officers also communicate with clients to gather necessary information and explain lending terms and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies while maintaining accurate records of loan applications and decisions.
