BUS DRIVER JOB SUMMARY Bus Driver I, under supervision of the Supervisor of Maintenance/Operations/Transportation and Site Principal or designee, drive a school bus or transportation vehicle safely over an assigned route. Transport students, including: to and from school; field trips; athletic activities; and other special trips; to maintain buses in a clean and safe condition. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge and Application of: District policies and procedures as they apply; Safe Driving Practices; Provisions of the California Motor Vehicle Code and Education Code applicable to the operation of vehicles in transporting school children.
