Summary

This position is located in Rocky Mountain National Park in the Facilities Management Division.

Government housing may be available on a temporary, but it is not guaranteed. Housing assignments are made though a bid process.

Duties

This position directly administers, and is responsible for, the park's Backcountry Facilities Program, which oversees all operational, maintenance, and construction activities for the park's trails, livestock, hazard tree, backcountry campsite maintenance, and front/backcountry sign programs. This program has an annual budget of approximately $2.5 million dollars, spread across a variety of fund sources. This position reports directly to the park's Deputy Facility Manager. The employee possesses leadership and management skills, as well as broad expertise in backcountry facility management and applied knowledge and skills.
