JOB DESCRIPTION:
• One of Insight Global's client in Higher Education is searching for an Accountant to join their team Full-Time on a Hybrid basis in St. Petersburg, FL. This individual will be responsible for providing accounting, auditing and financial internal controls relating to a specific department’s budget, grants, credit card reconciliation, event settlements and other programs and their respective funding sources. Additional responsibilities are included but not limited to:
• Performing financial analysis reporting and fiscal year opening & closing activities.
• Working closely with internal teams to establish budget and additional business operations.
• Reconcile activities in QuickBooks to PeopleSoft Finance.
• Provide historical analysis on repeat events & clients upon request.
• Preparation of ledger entries to maintain location activity, grant, or program activity accounts.
