Wainwright Health Centre is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (OR Nurse) with the peri-operative course for their busy surgical unit. This OR Nurse role acts as a patient advocate, providing a link between the patient care unit and the Operating Room. The Wainwright Health Centre provides extensive health care services including an active Acute Care, Emergency department, maternity, general medicine, the surgical department, and Long-Term Care. As the Operating Room (OR) Nurse at Wainwright Health Centre, you are an integral part of the surgical team, responsible for providing perioperative patient care using the nursing process in accordance with CRNA, Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada (ORNAC), and CSA standards of practice.
