• Assist cardiologists and other medical professionals during cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasty, stent placements, and other interventions.
• Operate and maintain catheterization lab equipment, including X-ray machines and fluoroscopes.
• Prepare patients for catheterization procedures, explaining the process, obtaining consent, and ensuring patient comfort.
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Capture and interpret high-quality medical images using fluoroscopy and other imaging technologies.
• Ensure accurate positioning of imaging equipment to obtain clear and relevant images.
• Perform and interpret ECGs to monitor and assess cardiac activity during procedures.
• Implement and adhere to radiation protection measures to ensure the safety of patients and healthcare personnel.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or complications during procedures.
