Summary:
Position is responsible for executing accounting and control functions at/for full scale Evaporation and packaging plant for Food, Edible, Industrial and Deicing salt at Goderich in Ontario, Canada. Incumbent is the finance business partner at their site and provides counsel and advice to the plant manager and colleagues as well as management in Overland Park. The incumbent will ensure proper adherence to company controls through cross-functional collaboration.

This includes but is not limited to completion of SOX control protocols, monitoring inventory observations and reconciliations, maintenance of the general ledger and preparation of month end journal entries and adjustments, proper interfaces with other systems, as well as preparation of standardized reporting protocols and any other duties that may arise from time to time.
