Role Summary

Changan Automobile Design Center Europe seeks Clay Modelers to create and develop physical exterior and interior models capturing the designer’s vision through sketches, data, and verbal direction. The ideal candidate will have proven experience developing models in clay, while possessing a comprehensive understanding of the peripheral activities relative to model development such as: paint, fabrication, electronics, 3D scanning, 3D printing and milling. As a Clay Modeler, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team and leverage your diverse skillset to create future Changan products.

Responsibilities
• Sketch modelling from 2D sketches or renderings
• Time management - following stringent & moving timelines
• Maintain a good information flow between other departments: Design, CAS, Engineering etc.
