Product design: Lead design and development of Mechanical components for new product requirement. It includes - Concept design finalization, 3D modelling, drawing preparation, prototype development, assembly and testing of various assemblies. Integration with other elevator subsystems, final release. Component qualification: Responsible for qualification of mechanical components/assemblies at mechanical laboratory and at test hoistway. Ensure to meet the quality of design as per design requirement. Understanding and performing failure and risk analysis using tools like DFMEA, Risk Analysis, Root cause analysis, etc. Ensure new/modified design meets the standards requirement and local code requirement.
