As a Tool and Die Designer, the incumbent will be responsible for the conceptualization, design, and development of precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in manufacturing processes. The incumbent must be proficient using CAD (preferably CATIA) to design 3D models and the ability to program CNC machines will be an advantage.

The role will involve collaborating closely with engineers, machinists, and production personnel to ensure the efficient production of high-quality parts and products. The incumbent must plan, and project manage, his/her own designs to see it through production and delivery to the client.

Responsibilities

1) Conceptualize and design precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to engineering specifications, production requirements, and industry standards.

2) Generate 3D models of detailed technical drawings, and documentation necessary for manufacturing, assembly, and quality control purposes in accordance with prescribed standards.
