Purpose

The HR and Payroll Administrator/Officer will be responsible for the maintenance of all HR and IR related information, and will be the first point of contact for any HR and IR related matters, offering support to Line Managers and employees

Requirements
• Grade 12/Matric or equivalent, with any HR/IR related qualifications beneficial
• Proven work experience in a similar role for at least five years
• Experience with Sage VIP payroll software would be preferred.
• Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written). Must be fluent in English
• Knowledge of SA Labour Law would be an advantage
• Experience in IR related matters would be an advantage

Key Responsibilities

Maintaining Personnel Records
• Completing all necessary documentation for “on-boarding” of staff
• Ensure new recruit has necessary equipment – IT, telephone, business cards, etc
• Orientation pack to be completed on employment
• All documents to be stored both electronically as well as physical records
