The International Labour Organisation has been tasked with producing a report on The State of Global Social Justice. The objective of this report is to document where we are at this moment both in terms of our understanding of the concept of social justice and in terms of the actual reality on the ground. The report is to be written for a wide, nontechnical, audience so as to inform the debate on social justice as best we can. It is also intended for those with different cultural and ideological backgrounds.

The report team is looking for an intern who can both write well and has a feel for the quantitative. Much of the Report will be devoted to an empirical analysis of trends in various indicators of social justice, which will be wide in scope. These indicators cannot be just dry series of numbers but must tell a story. This is why both a feel for numbers and good English writing skills are required.

Interns from any cultural and ideological background are encouraged to apply.
