Epko Oil Seed Crushing (Pty) Ltd is a progressive company involved in the procurement and
processing of oilseeds, the sales of vegetable oil and related products. The plant, with a
capacity of processing 220k/MT sunflower seeds and processes which equates to 25% of the
total sunflower seed harvest in South Africa, is situated in Lichtenburg.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To perform plant sampling on raw material, in-process and final products as per defined sampling map.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
• Ensure that representative samples are taken to the lab in time as per the set sampling plan.

• Perform all sampling task diligently.

• Recognizing the importance of providing proper samples to the lab at all times.

• Assisting the Lab Analyst with general housekeeping of the laboratory.

• Assisting with sample preparation for analysis e.g. grinding of samples for NIR analyst.

• Keeping work benches clean at all times.
