POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general direction this position is accountable for contributing to the assessment, production support, production transfer, reformulation, quality, and enhancement of products through planning, executing and analysis of experiments with clear and accurate results. This includes processing and adherence to sound economic advantages.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• This function reports directly to the R&D group leader - Process Chemistry
• To develop safe, cost-effective processes for compounds, scaling them up from lab through pilot plant and onto full-scale production and providing the necessary technical support to ensure the success of those activities in collaboration with R&D team (Designs and initiates own experiments, performs basic polymerization processes, install and approve formulas/raw materials).
