Responsibilities
• Work in a structured and methodical manner following industry best practices
• Be supportive and open to change and contribute to continuous improvement and evolution of the development team function
• Help advice l1/l2 support analysts
• Line management of Application Support Analysts
• Ensuring seamless database operations across various environments
• Implementing and maintaining database maintenance tasks
• Ensuring performance and general database optimizations
• Providing support to database related support issues
• Helping with TSQL and MySQL Scripting
• Reviewing Data and data related requirements
• Engaging in strategic capacity and architecture planning

Qualifications
• Either a degree or foundational course that covers object orientated programming.
• Demonstratable experience of development. Either some time in industry or personal projects.
• Experience working with MS SQL or MySQL.
• Proven track record in SQL Server database performance tuning
