The “ Smart Bio-Interfaces ” Research Unit focuses on the development and exploitation of physically-active nanoparticles and nanostructured materials, able to provide appropriate instructive cues to cells and tissues; at the same time, particular attention is dedicated to complex in vitro models for the testing of the developed nanoplatforms.
