Solar Project Engineer

We seek a skilled Solar Project Engineer to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. Reporting to the Head of Projects and COO where required, you will play a key role in technical design, engineering oversight, site supervision, and asset management support, collaborating closely with the project execution team.

Responsibilities
• Technical Design and Analysis:
• Conduct feasibility studies and energy yield assessments to determine the viability of proposed solar projects.
• Optimize system designs to maximize energy production and minimize costs while adhering to project timelines and specifications.
• Conduct comprehensive electrical system design, including AC and DC electrical layouts, cable sizing, protection systems, and voltage drop calculations.
• Develop detailed technical specifications for solar PV components, including modules, inverters, mounting structures, and balance-of-system components.
