Transit Driver - Casual Position

Location: Kitimat, BC

PWTransit is currently seeking casual Conventional / Custom Transit Drivers to join our team in Kitimat. We offer competitive wages, ongoing training and development, and a family-oriented team environment. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting passengers and must be committed to providing superior customer service. Commitment, patience, maturity, and initiative are all required qualities.

Position Requirements:
• A valid Class 1 or 2 driver’s license with air brakes
• Driver’s abstract with no more than 3 demerit points
• Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol screening
• Clear criminal record
• Must be organized, punctual and reliable
• Possess excellent driving skills and habits
• Ability to read maps and navigate
• Ability to communicate effectively
• A good knowledge of the local area is a definite asset
