Position Summary: The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing safe and effective physical therapy services in an Outpatient Pediatric Clinic setting. The Physical Therapist evaluates, analyzes, selects and applies goal directed interventions for the treatment or prevention of impairments/functional limitations in order to achieve treatment goals and long lasting positive outcomes. Essential Functions: Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18 Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s gross motor skills, self care skills, and more Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary Adjust communication patterns to the age and level of understanding of the client.
