Brunel is currently looking for a Lifting Supervisor to work on a big oil and gas project for one of our clients in Georgetown, Guyana.

Responsibilities
• Setup of a standard lifting procedures for different types of loads
• Preparation of lifting plans and procedures
• Preparation of LMRA before every risk (last minute risk assessment)
• Preparation of JHA (job hazard analysis) and SWP (safe work practices)
• Supervision of rigging operations of all different kind of loads according to the rules of good lifting procedure
• Supervision of inspection and good housekeeping of lifting material
• Communicating critical lifts to supervisor
• Accountable to interrupt or stop an unsafe lift

Qualifications
• Administrative skills
• All lifting signs are known and can be executed in correct and clear way
• Knowledge of all applicable lifting rules in place for used lifting gear
• Aware of the function of all used lifting gear
• Able to recognise unsafe and critical lifts
