Aufgaben
• During your Master thesis, you will review related work and the state-of-the-art in lidar-based Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) based on neural reconstruction.
• You will develop and integrate an evaluation pipeline to quantify the performance of candidate approaches against selected metrics to identify potential focus areas for improving SLAM accuracy.
• Last but not least, you will research, design and integrate potential extensions to improve a promising state-of-the-art SLAM approach on selected metrics.

Profil
• Education: Master studies in the field of Computer Science, Robotics or comparable
• Experience and Knowledge: in SLAM, mobile robotics, machine learning, software development with Python or C++, ROS, Ubuntu, Linux
• Personality and Working Practice: independent, enthusiastic and curious
