in the Applied and Computational Mathematics (ACM) working group,

is available from 01.07.2024, limited to 3 years (subject to final approval of the project funds by the third-party funding body),

Research assistant

with 75% of the collectively agreed working hours

to be filled.

Professional And Personal Recruitment Requirements

The position holder has a successfully completed university degree (Master's or comparable, e.g. Diploma) in mathematics, theoretical physics, computer science or comparable. In addition, the successful candidate will have communication and teamwork skills. A specialization in one of the subject areas 'Machine Learning', 'Statistics', 'Optimization' or 'High Performance Computing' is desirable. Programming skills, ideally in 'Python', are also desirable.
