Minimum Qualifications: Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) School Counselor certification for the State of Washington or certification in process through OSPI. Demonstrated strong skills and background in current trends, instructional methods and strategies in counseling students. Experience conducting large-group presentations and both small group and individual counseling sessions. Experience with student scheduling, comprehensive academic and career planning, 504 guidelines, and Special Education services and guidelines. Experience developing schedules and maintaining data (as related to counseling services). Demonstrated evidence of effectively working with students, parents and staff. Demonstrated experience using/implementing PBIS. Community agency collaboration experience. Advanced ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and through the use of technology.
