The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in the College of Engineering at American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications for visiting and regular faculty positions at the assistant, associate or full professor level commencing in Fall Semester 2024 or Spring 2025. The visiting faculty positions are primarily focused on teaching. Successful candidates for the regular positions will be expected to establish high-level, active research programs supported by internal and external funding sources. The visiting position is a one-year renewable contract and the regular position is a three-year renewable contract.The applicant is required to have a PhD in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or a closely related field and show evidence of a significant teaching portfolio.
