The City of White Rock is a unique, ocean-side community of 22,000 citizens known for its sunny weather, expansive beach, historic pier, delightful restaurants, and sense of community. The city is located half an hour south of Vancouver, BC on the shore of Semiahmoo Bay.

This is specialized work assisting the Manager with curatorial duties within the Recreation & Culture Department. The Curatorial Assistant will be responsible for undertaking an inventory, researching, accessioning, creating condition reports of the City’s public art and civic art collection.

Key Responsibilities:
• Performs detailed record-keeping; assists with collecting relevant data to create and update collection records, files, and inventories in paper and electronic formats; and assists with numbering, labeling, photographing, and cataloguing or art and artefacts.
