COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS MANAGER / GM

Our client is a fresh-produce handling and distribution center located in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha). They consolidate products from local growers as well as imported product and distribute to major retailers. We are recruiting for their Commercial Operations / General Manager to run the daily operations and trading.

QUALIFICATIONS

Matric with a relevant three-year tertiary education

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations management

Experience with procurement and sales of fresh fruit and vegetables

Extensive product knowledge on fresh produce varieties

Management experience of a small team (3-5 people)

Excellent computer literacy
