Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy Java applications leveraging Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and architect solutions that meet the needs of our university community.
• Optimize performance and reliability of Kafka clusters and related infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting Kafka environments in an educational setting.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to Kafka and event streaming.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.
• 5 - 7 years' of Hands-on experience working with Kafka in a production environment, including Kafka Streams and/or Kafka Connect.
