We are currently seeking an experienced Automation Engineer for our Cast House unit at Jharsuguda Odisha Location..

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and maintain existing automation systems, ensuring optimal performance.

Conduct system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements as needed.

Provide technical support to production teams during commissioning and production phases.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation technology.

Maintain all documentation part as per requirement.

Follow all safety norms as per Vedanta guidelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation.

Proficiency in Siemens (TIA Portal, S7-1500) and Rockwell (Studio 5000, ControlLogix) PLC programming.

Strong understanding of HMI (Human Machine Interface) development.

Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus, etc.).
