Senior Structural Designer

We are looking for a senior structural designer to join the group in support to projects with design and development of structural and outfitting drawings as required. Main fields are ships, mega yachts, navy units. Possible exposure to offshore supply vessels and other particular units (barges, pontoons, semisub, etc.)

Responsibilities

− Support projects as lead structural engineer or under the leadership of the Lead Engineer

− Develop structural and outfitting drawings (2D and 3D modelling)

− Development of classification drawings

− Interface with Clients and Classification societies

− Interface and support to those developing detail and production engineering

− Act as subject matter expert when required

Qualifications

− Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a similar role

− Proficient with the use of CAD systems

− Deep knowledge of the process of engineering development for ship structures

− Good knowledge of technical English
